Since his arrival on the national rap landscape in 2009, Waka Flocka Flame has stomped the stages of his sold out shows. With a lion’s roar delivery and Herculean presence, yet approachable personality and party-animal persona, the guy from Riverdale, Georgia by way of South Jamaica Queens, New York - with the propelling head full of two-toned dreads - has consistently delivered one signature service no artist in Hip Hop can honestly claim to have a similar abundance of - Energy. On this warm Fall night in Las Vegas, Flocka performed at Club Eclipse on the popular A-list venue’s closing night, effectively firing starlight into the darkest of skies while flexin’ and stuntin’ in the shadows of the storied Mandalay Bay Casino. Bet they’ll never forget last night.

The Brick Squad Monopoly chief performed hit upon hit - from “O Let’s Do It”, “Snakes in the Grass”, and “Game On”, to “Hard in Da Paint“, “Bustin’ At ‘Em”, “No Hands“, and “Round of Applause”. Flocka and his wife, fashion designer and media personality Tammy Rivera, mixed and mingled with Club Eclipse party goers by pouring Patron and Hennessy shots into their mouths. Special guest DJ Whoo Kid, one of the most iconic radio and live-set DJ’s to ever roam rap’s honorary proverbial halls, kept the party going well into the morning. While we await the oft-delayed, forever fan-demanded “Flockaveli 2″ album from rap’s resident rock star, we’ll keep up with the flamethrower via his live shows. One of entertainment’s hardest working musicians, Flocka performs worldwide year ’round.
