Rose, Towns, Phelps, and Lynch sounds more like a Variable Annuities law firm than a bunch of rich athletes hanging out in Cali playing video games, but… Olympic multi-medalist Michael Phelps and former NBA MVP Derrick Rose attended The Ultimate Fan Experience at the Forum in Los Angeles. Presented by video game publisher Activision, the day’s event quickly became a celeb scene and fan fun celebration as those two were soon joined by recently retired NFL running back Marshawn Lynch and reigning NBA Rookie of the Year Karl Anthony Towns of the Minnesota TimberWolves. The fellas enjoyed playing Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare together in (somewhat) friendly competition. Earlier in the day fans waited outside in hopes of participating in the Call of Duty World League Championships, where 32 of the top professional gamer teams from around the world began a weekend long digital warfare for a chance to claim their share of a $2 Million prize pool. While the Olympic legend, NFL superbowl winner, and two NBA superstars played Call of Duty XP, fans toured the facility taking part in such activities as zip line, Nuketown Paint Ball, Zombies in Spaceland laser tag, and Juggernaut sumo wrestling.
