When they first met, they clicked. Then the clique had a meeting. There’s been music in their mentions ever since. Now the sonically diverse Houston duo known as 3 Bubble and J. Gray are set to release the follow up to their debut album Live From The Pentagon. Sticking to their governmental suit-and-tie theme, the duo’s latest album is titled “Pentagon Memoirs“. More socially aware than politically conscious, what truly stands out about these two is their different sound for the town they represent, Houston - the fourth largest city in America - and the raw game they share on songs.

Rather than follow in the strip clubbing footsteps of hit-maker Kirko Bangz or rehash the street founded underground anthems of Trae Tha Truth, 3 Bubble and J. Gray offer a broader outlook from the city; a fresh perspective, still player but more playful. Pentagon Memoirs presents a street smart partnership by two standout Texas songwriters. Once 3 Bubble and J. Gray add stronger visuals with treatments scripted to song theme and a regional tour, the two will likely be on the fast track to industry success. The first “Pentagon” album served as a prelude to the second. There’s no denying these studio work-a-holics will be back with more music soon.
