ASIF’s latest capsule collection takes place in the future. A live paradox buried by the duality of not happening yet and being what’s happening now. As such, the LA-based collective of culture shock creatives deliver their finest line of street scene stomp-ins to date, including the SONA Moon Boot in both stealth (black) and base (white); and the IO Trainer in turtledove (yes, that’s a color) and camo. These are pronounced examples of the ASIF curated art experience. The futurist footwear brand clings tightly to its ceiling-shatter agenda, where double decade tenured molds aren’t so much tree-branch-broken as axed and altogether abandoned.

These are post-apocalyptic cowboys in half-a-thou tennis kicks and couture clothing. Directed by legendary lifestyle footwear aficionado Rich One and accomplished Cannon capture creative Res, ASIF (As Seen In the Future) aligned with next generation minimalist Tommii Lim for this fashion forward new release of street wearable protest art. The result is achromatic post-modern product with a Gene Roddenberry-like ambition to entertain and monetize its futuristic ambitions. While lightly seasoned with renaissance humanism and perhaps a bit over peppered by hints of quasi industrialism, the noir result of the ASIF line is a living representation of its mission statement: “We are futurists designing to escape the confines of the recycled ideas used by large organizations to service outdated markets.”
