A$AP Rocky‘s recent acts of Hip Hop heroism have gone relatively unheralded, especially given the Harlem tastemaker’s widespread influence and impact. This slight from the limelight hasn’t slowed the fashionable rapper/songwriter, however, as A$AP continues to collaborate with multinational consumer electronic giant Samsung, blending his talents with their technology in an effort to further educate the masses on how to make your music, your graphics, your art, and your studies a seamless accessory to accentuate your lifestyle. The two aren’t mutually exclusive. At least, not anymore. Indeed, Samsung is making efforts to LEVEL the playing field A$AP.

The “At. Long. Last. A$AP” rapper and his Billboard #1 album accolades hung out on the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) campus and introduced students to the groundbreaking Samsung Level Music Lab. Blending tech and design to create a stylish audio-visual consumer experience, Samsung converted the school’s lecture hall into an immersive music lab with an office hours segment setting the stage for A$AP’s really cool Q&A session. Moderated by in-demand videographer Rory Kramer who captures footage for pop star Justin Bieber, A$AP answered inquiries from Runnin’ Rebel students 1-on-1, very openly and honestly sharing his highbrow urban thoughts and unique perspectives on being inspired, seeking advice, the creative process, his New York City background, and also working with Mos Def, the ASAP Mob, and the state of fashion. Of course, no conversation with A$AP Rocky would be complete without discussing Hip Hop. UNLV was all wrapped up in rappin’ with the rapper about rap.
