As a pretty impressive prelude to her forthcoming full-length studio album A Shade Of Jade, due in the spring of 2016, soundcheck vet Rebecca Jade releases “Weather The Storm” - a futuristic foray into 50’s era Doo-wop that today’s R&B fan can appreciate. A regular on the Joshua Tree Music Festival scene, the two time San Diego Music Awards winner is a refreshingly poetic songwriter who records and performs with a specific attention to emotional detail which, in concert with her interpersonal affinity for explaining her purpose in music, allows even the most critical listener to appreciate Jade’s approach to sound and substance.
