Hip Hop music and urban culture icon Nas is releasing a special 20th anniversary edition of his iconic album Illmatic, appropriately titled Illmatic XX. This exclusive collection will feature several rare remixes, unreleased demos and freestyles to commemorate the anniversary. Illmatic XX is available this Tuesday April 15th.
Pure DOPE Magazine has teamed up with Write Chicago, an inner-city writing workshop founded by Arionne Nettles. Designed to help Chicago area teens explore creative writing for self-expression in music, film, mass media, and more, Write Chicago is a good idea for the greatest cause - at risk youth.
In this exclusive and purposeful collaboration, advance copies of Illmatic XX will be awarded to five of the organizations standout students.
