Here is an Excerpt from the Full Length Interview
(Danielle Noel: DN) When you first came out there was a lot of animosity about you being a rapper that just makes dance songs. How do you feel about that? Do you feel you’ve moved past that?
(Soulja Boy: SB) When I first came out, everything was going right for me. I was 17 years old and I made my first million dollars. So when people had started to hate on me, I just laughed at them because I had everything I wanted. I wanted to become a rich super-famous rapper, and that’s what I did. People were criticizing the type of music I was making, but my fans loved it. I was making my team proud, everybody was getting paid, the millions were coming in, and I was living my dream. The hate was just a small part of it. I think I handled it great. I think I just shitted on n!99as, cause it wasn’t people dissin’ me that I really cared about, I was just like, whatever.
(DN) How do you remain humble?
(SB) I really try to stay in touch with as many of my fans as I can, like the people that hit me up on Facebook and Twitter. I try to reply and stay connected to the fans. It really goes a long way with people, it makes they day. I did a hospital outreach project and there wasn’t any money involved, they just wanted to see me so I did it out of the kindness of my heart. Small things like that keep me humble, it keeps my head on straight. I also stay on the phone with my family. I make sure I talk to them at least once a day.
(DN) You do quite a few giveaways and charity events. Even free shows. That is great of you. Talk a little about that.
(SB) I do contests and giveaways on my website for my fans. I have a Soulja Boy foundation that I started. We do an event in Mississippi once a year with the Boys and Girls club where I come and show my face. We donate money, have food for the kids, events, other celebrities come out, and just really try to give back. My clothing line does giveaways with merchandise like snapbacks and shirts. I do free shows from time to time because people really want me to come to their city but don’t really have the check. It’s really important for me to give back, so every year I try to do something bigger and better than the last.

I am extremely impressed with your writing skills as neatly as with the structure on your weblog. Is this a paid topic or did you customize it yourself? Either way stay up the excellent high quality writing, it is rare to see a great weblog like this one today..
